About The Author

Dr. Esmat M. Gabriel is an educator and a former faculty member of the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Thomas Jefferson University. His accomplishments are well recognized by leading health organizations and medical schools. Dr. Gabriel has received numerous accolades and acknowledgments for his work including the Thomas Jefferson Medical College Golden Pin Merit Award, the Recognition Award bestowed by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, the Jessie Smith Noyes Fellowship, elected to the New York Academy of Sciences and is listed in Who’s Who in Gerontology.

He is a well-published clinical researcher in the field of human behavior and human development. As a coinvestigator of two national research studies, he led a team that carried out experiments and assessments of a class of medications that currently treat anxiety disorder and insomnia.

Dr. Gabriel is a featured speaker in the United States, Canada, and abroad. He is also a guest contributor to Logos TV’s Coptic Civilization program in America. His publications include Contemporary Leadership Styles Analysis: The Exemplary Leadership of Pope Kyrillos VI & Pope Shenouda III.  The Exemplarily Upbringing of the Child & Transformational Stages Toward Perfect Maturity. The History of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the United States: From the Land of the Pharaohs to the United States of America.
